Sweet and Sour Pork Chops

Yield

6 Servings

Time

4-8 Hours

A white plate with a serving of sweet and sour pork chops and rice.

We turn to these sweet and sour pork chops again and again, and it’s not hard to see why. It only takes a one-gallon zip top bag and five simple ingredients to make: boneless pork chops, apple cider, apple jelly, chicken broth, and balsamic vinegar. Combine it all together and let it sit in the freezer for up to three months. When you’re feeling like a delicious, savory home cooked meal but don’t want to put it any effort, simply take out the freezer bag, dump the contents into a slow cooker, and let the appliance work its magic! We love the mix of apple jelly and chicken broth in these savory sweet and sour pork chops.
