Oatmeal Cookies
The best chewy oatmeal cookies; loaded with oats, full of rich buttery flavor, & a dash of cinnamon. These super soft cookies will have you begging for more!

cups butter (softened)

cups white sugar

cups brown sugar (packed)

eggs

tsp vanilla extract

cups all-purpose flour

tsp salt
1
tsp baking soda
2
tsp cinnamon

cups quick cooking oats
Preparation
In a medium bowl, cream butter, sugar, & brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Beat in eggs & vanilla extract.
Add flour, salt, baking soda, & cinnamon to the cream mixture, mix well.
Mix in quick cooking oats
Cover & chill dough for at least an hour.
Preheat oven to 375.
Take out dough & drop onto a parchment lined cookie sheet with a tablespoon 2 inches apart.
Bake for 8-12 minutes in preheated oven.
Remove to wire racks to cool.
