cups  butter (softened)

1

cups white sugar

1

cups brown sugar (packed)

eggs

1

tsp vanilla extract

2

cups all-purpose flour

tsp salt

1

tsp baking soda

2

tsp cinnamon

3

cups quick cooking oats

Preparation

  1. In a medium bowl, cream butter, sugar, & brown sugar until light and fluffy.

  2. Beat in eggs & vanilla extract.

  3. Add flour, salt, baking soda, & cinnamon to the cream mixture, mix well.

  4. Mix in quick cooking oats

  5. Cover & chill dough for at least an hour.

  6. Preheat oven to 375.

  7. Take out dough & drop onto a parchment lined cookie sheet with a tablespoon 2 inches apart.

  8. Bake for 8-12 minutes in preheated oven.

  9. Remove to wire racks to cool.

  10. Enjoy!
