Want that gourmet potato chip without a trip to the diner? Give these healthier potato chips a try with their use of an air fryer rather than the traditional deep fryer. With your favorite seasonings, these might become a new favorite!
large russet potatoes
peeled and thinly sliced
large bowl of water
tbsp olive oil
Add sliced potatoes to bowl of water.
Cover bowl and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Remove from refrigerator and train water.
Thoroughly rinse and drain potatoes again.
Add olive oil to bowl and toss to coat potatoes.
Add seasoning salt to taste and toss again.
Place potato slices evenly in air fryer.
Air Fry for 20 minutes at 400 degrees, tossing occasionally.
For crispier chips, air fry a little longer.
