Wisconsin Grilled Cheese

There’s just something extra comforting about a grilled cheese sandwich. There’s no place where this is more true than in the dairy state! Here at Ginny’s, we embrace our Wisconsin heritage and want to share some of our grilled cheese expertise.
Give this recipe a try! Pair it with some tomato soup on a rainy day, and you might just find your next go-to comfort meal.

tbsp mayonnaise
½
tbsp brown spicy mustard
2
slices white sandwich bread
½
cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
½
cups shredded gouda cheese
Preparation
In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise and mustard.
Spread a thin layer of mayo mixture on one side of each slice of bread.
There will be mixture leftover.
Place one slice of bread on skillet over medium heat, mayo side down.
Top with cheeses and second piece of prepared bread, mayo side out.
Toast until golden brown on the bottom, then flip.
Toast the second side until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
Remove from skillet and enjoy!
