Taco Chili

Looking for an easy comfort meal but want something a little more unique? Give this taco chili a try! It marries the comfort and warmth of a pot of chili, and the ease of a taco night. Serve with some shredded cheese and tortilla strips on top for an incredible weeknight meal.

Ingredients

lbs ground beef

1

can of diced tomatoes

1

can of tomatoes with green peppers

2

cans of chili beans or kidney beans

drained

1

package of taco seasoning, hot or mild

1

onion

diced

½

beef bouillon cube

cayenne pepper to taste

Stovetop Instructions

  1. Cook beef until well done; drain and set aside.

  2. Add all ingredients to a large pot and cook until it boils.

  3. Add meat and reduce heat. Simmer for one hour, then serve.

Slow Cooker Instructions

  1. In a skillet, brown ground beef.

  2. Add ground beef and the remaining ingredients to slow cooker and stir.

  3. Cook on low for 2 hours, or high for 1 hour.
