Spicy with a hint of sweet & charred to perfection. Pair it with rice, your favorite vegetable, or make them into kabobs! Spicy Grilled Shrimp will be a hint at the family BBQ.
cups extra-virgin olive oil
cups lime juice
tbsp honey or maple syrup
tbsp chili garlic sauce or Sriracha
tbsp soy sauce
peeled and deveined
cilantro for garnish
skewers for the grill
Get out your skewers, if they are wooden, soak in water for at least 30 minutes
In large bowl, whisk together olive oil, lime juice, honey or maple syrup, garlic, chili sauce or sriracha, and soy sauce. Make sure to reserve 1/4 cup of the marinade to brushing onto shrimp while grilling.
One you save 1/4 of the marinade, toss shrimp with remaining marinade. Preheat grill and thread shrimp onto the skewers.
Grill shrimp until pink, about 3 minutes per side, make sure to brush with reserved marinade before and after each flip.
Garnish with cilantro and lime. ENJOY!
