Microwave Baked Potato

Life-changing tip: “baked potato” does not always have to mean “baked in the oven.” For example, it could mean “baked in the microwave,” which also means “this healthy and delicious microwave baked potato recipe is about as easy as it gets.”





1 potato (any kind)

any toppings you want (sour cream, bacon, chives, shredded cheese, etc.)


  1. Poke holes in the potato with the fork.

  2. Microwave for four minutes. Turn it over, and microwave it for another two minutes, or until done.

  3. We like cutting our baked potato into pieces with a fork and piling on sour cream, bacon, shredded cheese, and chives. You can also make a cut lengthwise and crosswise across the potato, then hold onto the ends of the potato and push in to open up the potato into a “bowl.” Add sour cream and other ingredients on top!
