Easy Homemade Applesauce
Nothing quite tastes like easy homemade applesauce in the fall: crisp apples, a hint of cinnamon, and the simple flavors that remind us of our childhood. This homemade applesauce is about as low-key as it can get. Just throw the ingredients in a pot, cook, and then blend. Cue simple fall deliciousness!

lbs golden delicious apples (peeled, cored, and sliced)

cups apple cider
juice of 1/2 a lemon

cups brown sugar

tsp cinnamon

tbsp butter
Preparation
Place all ingredients in a medium pot. Cook over medium heat for 25 minutes, stirring occasionally. After 25 minutes, cool until it’s just warm and no longer hot.
Pour the mixture into a food processor and blend until smooth. Serve warm or cold; if you’d like, sprinkle more cinnamon on top before eating. Enjoy!
