Cream Cheese Frosting

It’s a classic frosting that comes on all of our favorite cakes like red velvet, and sometimes the canned version just isn’t the same as the bakery. With this recipe, you can get that bakery-like frosting without the trip to the bakery.

8 oz package cream cheese

½

sticks butter

cups confectioners sugar

tsp vanilla

Preparation

  1. Put room temperature cream cheese and butter in the bowl of an electric mixer. Mix on medium/high speed, until blended.

  2. Add sugar and vanilla and continue mixing until light and fluffy, about 5-7 minutes.
