Cinnamon Raisin Bread
Need to find a use for some raisins? Look no further than this delicious cinnamon raisin bread. Serve it with a pad of softened butter, and you’ll keep coming back for more!
cups warm water
tbsp softened butter
cups brown sugar
oz active dry yeast (1 packet)
Place all ingredients in the bread machine pan in the order listed, except the yeast and raisins.
Make a hole in the top of the flour with a spoon and add the yeast.
Close the lid and select SWEET BREAD, START.
PAUSE and add the raisins when the bread machine beeps 6 times (70 minutes into the program). START.
Remove from pan when done. Let cool 20–30 minutes before slicing.
Serve warm or toasted with butter and honey.
Makes 1 loaf (approximately 1½–2 lbs.)
