Chocolate Chip Cheese Ball

A holiday staple that can be made at any time of the year, this cheese ball is a fun and special treat.

8 oz. package of cream cheese, softened

½

cups butter, softened

¼

tsp vanilla extract

¾

cups confectioners sugar

2

tbsp brown sugar

¾

cups miniature semi-sweet chocolate chips

¾

cups finely chopped pecans (optional)

graham crackers

Preparation

  1. In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, butter, and vanilla until fluffy.

  2. Gradually add sugars; beat just until combined. Stir in chocolate chips.

  3. Cover and refrigerate for two hours.

  4. Place cream cheese mixture on a large piece of plastic wrap; shape into a ball. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

  5. Just before serving, roll cheese ball in pecans (if desired).
