tsp baking soda

cups packed brown sugar

cups buttermilk

Preparation

  1. In a small bowl combine the oats, flours, baking soda, salt, and sugar.

  2. In another bowl, beat the egg, oil, and buttermilk. Stir into dry ingredients just until moistened.

  3. Pour batter by 1/3 cupful onto a greased hot griddle.

  4. Turn when bubbles form on the top; cook until the second side is golden brown.
