Brown Sugar Oatmeal Pancakes
These pancakes are the perfect “little something sweet” to kick off your morning. Give them a try with your favorite berries or syrup!

tbsp quick cooking oats

cups whole wheat flour

cups all purpose flour

tsp baking soda

tsp salt

cups packed brown sugar

egg

tbsp vegetable oil

cups buttermilk
Preparation
In a small bowl combine the oats, flours, baking soda, salt, and sugar.
In another bowl, beat the egg, oil, and buttermilk. Stir into dry ingredients just until moistened.
Pour batter by 1/3 cupful onto a greased hot griddle.
Turn when bubbles form on the top; cook until the second side is golden brown.
