Ingredients
½
cups flour
½
tsp salt
¼
tsp pepper
2
tbsp canola oil
1½
lbs beef, cut into chunks
1
large onion
chopped
2
garlic cloves
minced
4
carrots
sliced
3
stalks celery
4
potatoes
cubes
8
oz fresh mushrooms
cut in half
12
oz fresh green beans
cut into 1″ pieces
1½
cups beef stock
½
tsp ground thyme
¼
tsp paprika
2
tbsp dried parsley
Preparation
Mix the flour, salt and pepper in a bowl.
Start the pressure cooker using the BROWN function and add the oil.
Dredge the chunks of beef in the flour mixture and add them to the hot oil. Turn each piece as the flour “sweats” from the top of the meat. When all the beef is turned, cook for another 2 minutes.
Add the onion and sauté for 2 minutes. Cancel BROWN.
Gently stir in all remaining ingredients.
Lock the lid on the pressure cooker and set to high pressure for 15 minutes.
Quick release the pressure. Stir well and serve hot. Salt and pepper to taste.
