Banana Bread

We’ve all had bananas ripen faster than we anticipated, and we’re left with a bunch of overripe bananas on hand. That’s the perfect time to whip up a loaf of banana bread! A classic staple to any baker’s recipe book: banana bread is the perfect recipe to keep on hand.

ripe bananas

mashed

eggs

tbsp vegetable oil

cups sugar

cups flour

½

tsp baking soda

1

tsp baking powder

Preparation

  1. Place all ingredients in the bread machine pan in the order listed.

  2. Close the lid and select QUICK BREAD, START.

  3. When done, before removing the bread pan, check your bread with a

    toothpick. If the toothpick does not come out clean, continue cooking

    using BAKE at 5 minute intervals until toothpick comes out clean.

  4. Remove pan from bread machine when done. Let cool 15–20 minutes

    before removing from the pan. Cool completely before slicing.

  5. Makes 1 loaf (approximately 1 lb.)
