Product Details
Have delicious pancakes and bacon for breakfast, grilled cheese for lunch, steak or burgers for dinner—it can do it all with ease! It has a generously sized, reversible grill/griddle plate (with 150 sq. in. of cooking surface on each side) and a temperature probe that gives you precise heat control (from 374-446° F). The nonstick coating ensures effortless food release, and the drip pan catches extra grease and oil. Everything is dishwasher safe (except removable probe). 20 3/4" l x 12 1/2" w x 3 1/4" h.
Product note: The owner's manual says that the drip tray and base are hand wash only. Actually, the grill/griddle plate, drip tray and base are all dishwasher safe.

Awesome griddle/grill
Bought this for my Son and daughter n law, and they give it an A+
Many reviews state the little metal piece where you plug it in, is an issue, just line the griddle up and set it down in and metal piece moves out of way and locks the griddle in. Seems like a safety feature.

Unable to use
The place where the plug goes in has a piece of metal in it that prevents the plug to go in. Definitely returning this.

Can't wash in the dishwasher
I was so excited when I ordered this product. I received it yesterday and I am so disappointed. Two small pieces had broken off in transit and the only way to plug it in to the machine is to insert something under the griddle plate. Also, the instructions say the grill/griddle plate is dishwasher safe which is not true. The handles are screwed into the plates and the handle has the plug end which cannot be immersed in water. If there is some magic trick to removing the handles the instructions certainly didn't mention it. What am I doing wrong please or do I need to send it back to you for a refund?

This item has a metal piece in the spot that you plug the thermostat in. Can't plug it in why?
You haven't aligned it correctly, I had same problem, but immediately seen that you have to align the tab and slot where the control unit plugs in.. This also lets grill/griddle sit properly on base.. It's no problem once you've done it a couple of times..
