Buyer Beware
Just received this today and was so excited to put it on my bed! My excitement quickly turned to huge disappointment when I took it out of the box. Online pictures and catalog pictures make this comforter set look like a dark luxurious and glamorous purple when in fact it is a lavender purple and not at all what I was expecting! This is not the look I was going for and I’m not happy. That being said, the comforter is well made and of good quality and has decent weight to it. If your looking for a light purple bedroom set I’d highly recommend this set but if you’re like me and looking for a dark purple set then scroll on by and keeping looking or you will be disappointed as this set is not what you are looking for. I feel like whoever is shooting the photos needs to do a better job showing the true colors in natural lighting because as we all know, color varies from monitor to monitor but even the color in Midnight Velvet’s catalog looked dark purple just like my cellphone did AND my desktop computer SO that tells me that it’s not color distortion on my end.
