Here's a little secret: there are 2 hidden drawers under each shelf to keep your items locked inside—simply place the included magnet (or your own magnet of equal strength) over the logo above each drawer to unlock them! Drawers are 12 1/4" w x 2" h x 8" d. Mocha-painted solid and composite wood with steel drawer hardware. Assembly required. 24" w x 68" h x 12" d.

I bought this for my daughter’s new apartment. It was easy to assemble and pretty. The hidden drawers are a cool feature. The only reason for 4 stars is because one of the pieces had a small crack and one of the screw holes would not line up no matter what we did! Fortunately these two issues are toward the top of the unit where it’s not noticeable.

Poor craftsmanship
Not very good craftsmanship on this book case.the right and left edges of the drawers have huge gaps and you can easily see the drawer slides that give the secrecy away.i also had to super glue one of the magnetic locks.the entire housing of the lock fell out.i wouldn’t recommend this product and it’s certainly not worth the money.i have my own wood shop in my double car garage and can fix all of this however I don’t think that I should have to.and what about the person that doesn’t have the tools or know how to fix these issues.

What is the width of the two side panels that form the case? 1/2"? 3/4"? 1"? I'm asking this to find out if I could drill holes in the side panels for metal supports to add more shelves? Thanks, Charlie
