Just what I wanted.
2 speeds-not quiet, but that's what I like. On high, it puts me to sleep with my PTSD perfectly. Otherwise, I hear every noise.

Don't waste your money!
This fan totally died on me after about 2 months. I have had fans that lasted for a decade!

I purchased this about a month ago, I liked the design and it was good but I thought that it will blow out a little bit more cooler air.

Question & Answer
Why does this fan have a fast blowing fuse in the cord?
Hi Katherine. I'm not sure if you got your answer from customer service, but here is why there is that fuse in the cord. That fuse is in place to take the shock of a power surge so the motor doesn't. You see motors are more expensive to replace on items like this fan than it is to replace the fuse, which you can buy a multi-pack from Walmart or a hardware store, like Lowe's, for somewhere around $5 or $6 I think, maybe cheaper.
