dangerous setup
this product needs to be more clear about the handling of the blades. The blades have these plastic coverings that were really difficult to remove and resulted in a laceration that was very hard to avoid despite wearing rubber gloves. Please take precaution when using this product and removing the plastic insert from the blade. It’s very awkward to remove. I would use some tongs or pliers instead of hands to remove.

What a piece of garbage!
I bought this back in February because I was moving and I had accidentally broken my Black and Decker food processor which I paid three times less than this one. I ended up moving into my new home in May. I took several new appliances out of the boxes and tossed them in the trash. I didn't actually use the new food processor until tonight which is July 2022. I had a difficult time assembling it but I eventually got it. I had cut up a head of cabbage and I put it in the bowl. Everything was lined up and sturdy. I'd plugged it into an extension cord and turned it on. Nothing. Then I plugged it directly into the outlet. Nothing. I checked the circuit breaker but it was fine. I've been working on this thing for , 3 hours and it doesn't even turn on. Now I can't return it because it's past 60 days and even if it wasn't I threw out the box. I also purchased a air fryer which now I'm worried about because the same situation could happen. I wouldn't recommend this product to my worst enemy. It's a really good looking piece of trash so if you want to use it as a trophy for your cooking ability it'll do just fine but if you actually want to use it to process foods you should probably look elsewhere. Buy at your own risk. My $20 Black and Decker worked better. Just the fact that it made it through their quality control says a lot about the company. The Wards today is NOT the Wards that I grew up with. Instead it has been reborn as a company who sells inferior products similar to Fingerhut and I am done with them. I won't ever buy anything from Wards again. I give up.
