Everything great except the burgers!
We bought this value combo a couple of weeks ago, and for the most part everything is okay. Here's the breakdown: 1. The Tilapia is some of the freshest and flavorful that we've ever had...we loved them. 2. The pork is flavorful. 3. The chicken cooks up nicely. 4. The Sirloin Steaks are flavorful but cook up a bit on the tough side. HINT: (We have found that if you end up with meat that cooks up tough, cut or slice it thin, then there is less toughness to bite or chew thru, thus you can still be able to taste all the flavors of the steak). And last, but not least... 5. The Steak Burgers are terrible!!! We just finished a couple for lunch, and they were the worst ever! They came out as tough as shoe leather!! And not too flavorful either. We are very disappointed, and expected better from Tender Filet. This is from someone who has cooked many burgers in her time, and many different brands of burger. So, believe me when I say that these were the worst to bite into and chew. And these were only cooked for 4 1/2 minutes total! We love Tender Filet. We will keep ordering from Tender Filet. But we will never purchase the burgers again. Oh, and where it asks if I'd recommend this to a friend, I will reply with a "YES", as the other items were great! I don't feel the need to penalize the entire value combo for one bad item. Thank you for reading.
