Strawberry Ice Cream

Looking to make use of some strawberries? Got a sweet tooth? Craving something cold to cool off with? Look no further than this delicious strawberry ice cream. With just a little bit of preparation, you can make your own sweet and creamy strawberry ice cream from the comfort of your own home.





cups fresh strawberries


cups whole milk


cups whipping cream


tbsp sugar


  1. Mash strawberries, then mix the remaining ingredients.

  2. Store mixture in refrigerator and cool to 40 degrees F.

  3. Put the freezer bowl in place and turn on the ice cream maker (so paddles are moving). Make sure to freeze the bowl for at least 8 hours prior to preparing your ice cream mixture. Place the bowl upright, in a plastic bag, near the back of the freezer (the coldest spot) for best results.

  4. Add the refrigerated mixture. The ice cream maker will stop when soft ice cream is ready to serve, about 20-30 minutes.
