Gummy Berry Snacks

Bring the county fair into your kitchen with these gummy berry snacks you can make with our S’mores/Gummy Candy Maker. You can make this recipe with only five ingredients that are easy to find at your local supermarket: berries, fruit juice, lemon juice, honey, and unflavored gelatin. It’s a great treat to make with kids, who can have fun stirring the mixture, pouring it into the molds, and, of course, eating the gummies once they’re done! We recommend spending a Saturday making gummy berry snacks in different flavors so you have a stockpile of sweet treats to nibble on during the week.
Ingredients:
1/4 c. berries, pureed (strawberries, blueberries, etc.)
1/4 c. any fruit juice (grape, apple, etc.)
1 T. lemon juice
2-3 T. honey (or to taste, depending on how much sugar is in your juice)
3 packets unflavored gelatin
- Heat the first four ingredients in the melting bowl. When heated through, add the gelatin, 1 packet at a time, while stirring the mixture. Continue to stir until completely melted and watery.
- Turn off the heater, remove the bowl, and carefully pour the melted mixture into the molds.
- Let set in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes before turning candy out of molds. Store the gummy candy in the fridge.
