Scrambled Eggs in a Mug

A red and white check mug filled with microwaved eggs, by a buttered slice of toast.

If you’re just making eggs for one or two people, skillets are overrated—scrambled eggs in a mug are the best way to enjoy breakfast. Cut down on the dishes you have to clean, and make scrambled eggs in a microwave with this super easy recipe.

3 large eggs
3 tablespoons milk
A pinch of salt
3 tablespoons shredded cheese (optional)

  1. Mix eggs, milk, and salt in a mug (or microwave safe bowl).
  2. Microwave for 45 seconds; take it out and stir. Microwave for another 45 seconds, or until eggs are nearly set. Stir in the shredded cheese if desired, and then let eggs sit for about one minute. Serve immediately before eggs get cold!
