Orange Cooler

Orange sherbet, vanilla ice cream, and lemon-lime soda makes for one refreshing and delicious summertime drink! This recipe was submitted by Gail G., the winner of our "Cool Beverages" contest for May 2005.

A clear curved glass filled with layered orange and pink Orange Cooler, with a straw, an orange slice and a cherry.

 1 pt vanilla ice cream
 1 pt orange sherbet
 1 large bottle lemon-lime soda

In a tall glass mix 1/4 of the vanilla ice cream on the bottom layer with a 1/4 of the sherbet. Add another layer of vanilla then orange sherbet. Fill glass with lemon-lime soda. Serve with an iced teaspoon for scooping or mixing and a straw.
