Cider Pork Chops

cider, pork, chops, apple, sauerkraut

 4 1" thick pork chops
 1 tbsp Oil
 1 Large onion, thinly sliced
 2 Apples, sliced
 ½ cup Apple cider or juice
 16 oz Sauerkraut, drained

Heat oil in skillet and brown pork chops on both sides. Transfer to plate.


Add onions and apples to skillet and saute until tender, about 5 minutes.


Mix in cider and sauerkraut.


Return chops to skillet, cover, and simmer for 30 minutes over medium-low heat.
