Welcome in the summer and delight your guests at barbecues and parties with homemade beer-battered onion rings! Serve them as an appetizer before a barbecue, as a side to delicious burgers, or even on top of a juicy steak. It's important for your onions to be sweet, since the right onion will really improve the taste of the onion rings. You can slice them as thick or as thin as you'd like; it's all about personal preference. The same rule goes for the cup of beer the recipes calls for. Just use your preferred brew! These beer-battered onion rings are so tasty that you'll have to make sure to set enough aside for yourself before you let your guests try them, or they'll be gone before you know it.
