Hamilton Beach Stand Mixer

Hamilton Beach Stand Mixer

Currently not available.

Hamilton Beach® Stand Mixer uses an orbital mixing pattern to ensure proper mixing of all your ingredients. The drive shaft revolves around the stationary bowl in one direction while the beater spins in the opposite direction—so you get perfectly mixed ingredients every time. It even has a push-button that automatically tilts the head up and down. A six-speed control dial lets you adjust speed smoothly, and a "fold" setting lets you incorporate more air into your mixes (great for folding in whipped cream or egg whites). Includes a 3.5-qt. stainless steel bowl, flat beater, dough hook and whisk—all dishwasher safe. 300 watts. 13 1/4" l x 7 1/4" w x 11 3/4" h.

  • weak motor

  • not a very strong stand mixer. Very weak when kneading bread dough. Go heavier if your going to make breads

  • an excellent item

  • I like the way It mixes My ingredients. Only problem Is The Attachments Don't quite Reach The sides of the bowls And I have to Scrape the sides Back into the mix. I do love The way it Thoroughly Mixes The ingredients

  • For the price, it really gets the job done.

  • I bought MY HB Stand Mixer I think somewhere around "3" years ago and FROM this site. I will admit that I was disappointed when when I took it out of the box because it DOES look cheaply made and it WAS much smaller then I expected. Nevertheless, I have found that, despite it's appearance, it does a FINE job. It works best when the mixing bowl is MORE full than LESS full. (The attachments get a better "reach.") However, the bowl itself is not all that big. You may find that you have to do "2" batches of some of your recipes. I have only used MY mixer for cookie doughs, cake batters and frostings and have had no significant problems. It DID start to struggle a bit when, early on, I made a LARGE batch of oatmeal raisin cookie dough but it still managed to power through to the end. Since then I've halved the recipe and had no further problems. But to be fair, all of my PREVIOUS mixers, both hand AND stand, also struggled with this same recipe, too, so, I can't REALLY fault the HB Stand Mixer. Hardly a WEEK goes by that I don't make AT LEAST one cake and it's frosting. Both of my FAVORITE frostings require long and intense beating to get them light and fluffy and THIS is where my HB Stand Mixer SHINES for me. Being able to use it has proven to be a great blessing because making these frostings was just getting to be too difficult for me to do with either of my old hand mixers. As for how well it performs on bread doughs, well, I have not, as yet, attempted any and so cannot personally review how well it handles THOSE doughs. So, to conclude, for me, at least, I have been been very happy with my purchase. I think Hamilton Beach continues to be a name you can trust.
