More than just a good cook, Paula Deen has her plate full! As an author, restaurant owner, celebrity chef on The Food Network and entrepreneur, Paula Deen still finds time to cook for family and friends. It all began back in 1989 when she started a lunch delivery service with her sons, The Bag Lady. That grew into a catering service and eventually she opened The Lady & Sons, one of the hottest restaurants in downtown Savannah, GA. Since then she's opened Uncle Bubba's Oyster House with her younger brother.
When she isn't filming "Paula's Party" or "Paula's Homecooking" on the The Food Network, Paula Deen is busy making personal appearances at cooking demonstrations around the country. Somehow she managed to sit down long enough to collect her favorite recipes into several cookbooks, and she continues to share cooking and entertaining tips in her bi-monthly magazine, "Cooking with Paula Deen." Her latest book, "It Ain't All About the Cookin'," is a memoir that takes us out of the kitchen and behind the scenes for an up-close and personal account of her life. But you can be sure, there are many more chapters yet to be written about Paula Deen's adventures.
