I bought this to try it out. It did fine for awhile. it went into a super sonic speed and had to send it back. I did like it for it's light weight. For small jobs it did its job. I am still waiting on customer service for my refund. If you are a student living in a small apt. and you do alot of box mixes this is the mixer for you, if you are like me with family and friends,, well,it would help if it came with a splash guard..lol..

I just wanted to say that even though I gave this mixer a bad rating above, Ginny's staff were GREAT and helped me resolve my issues with it.I was able to return with no problems at all and the operator was very helpful.Ginny's service was wonderful :) Thanks Ginny!They even wrote me to say how sorry they were for my trouble. Now thats customer service!

I too love my mixer, i did have a kitchen aid,,i do like it better, but Ginny's is light weight and for light stuff it is great. i will have to return mine, it went wierd high speed turning wacko..cookie dough everwhere,,lol, it was sorta funny. but for the price it still believe it is worth the price. Hopefully i will be able to get a new one. let us see how customer service does. i will up date later. Out of all the the items I do buy from Ginny's I have never been disappointed..

OK well now that I've tried it out (see my other comments days ago)I'm not to happy. I had high hopes for this.Everything was going great and i loved the mixer but then when i started on kneading Bread dough the mixer started spasming and after about 1 minute it started to smoke.I immediately turned off and unplugged but the moter was blown.This mixer is GREAT if you want to just mix liquids but forget about kneading!What a disappointment and I'll be returning it.

What?Of course the bowl turns.I don't think the bottom two know what they are saying.You put the bowl on the spinning plater which is on the tray.How hard can that be?Also this comes with two size bowls 1 1/2 and 4 quart.The 4 quart is fine for bread.Also it has a cord which zips into the back!GREAT for storage with no hanging cords. Now i haven't actually used this yet just telling you the setup.I'll write more when i use.Oh and its lighter then i thought it would be so I'm hoping its powerful (Hard Plastic body).

I just started a cake decorating class and had to make and bake my own cakes, frostings, and icings for the classes. I have had NO problems with this mixer. As a matter of fact, everything came out more moist and creamy than I had expected. This mixer is light-weight, easy to use, and easy to clean up after. I highly recommend it for the casual user to the professional user.

Did not work the first time I order it, switch was broken. Second time around something elecrical was wrong did not turn on. Finally I decided to return it and will not give it a second try. Do not buy this mixer is not worth the time and money... Bad service as well. Customer service "they are always right" what happent to the customer is right at least give us the benefit of the doubt.

My daughter received her first basic KitchenAid mixer for Christmas several years ago and I decided I should replace my hand mixer. I was hesitant about spending the money when I received your catalog. After looking over your product and the color options I decided to purchase it. When I told my daughter she became jealous because I have 2 bowls and 16 speeds and she doesn't. She has decided that if she needs another one she will be getting it from your company. Thank you for a wonderful product

I WAS READING THE REVIEWS AND ONE SAID THERE BOWLS DONT TURN YES THEY DO YOU MUST READ THE DIRECTIONS BEFORE OPERATING YOU MUST SET THE BASE FOR THE RITE SIZE BOWL IN ORDER FOR IT TO ROTATE AND IF THAT DOESNT WORK RETURN IT AND GET A NEW ONE CAUSE THIS MIXER IS AWESOME I HAVE A FAMILY OF 5 AND I USE IT ALOT AND NEVER HAD A PROBLEM BUT LIKE I SAID READ THE DIRECTIONS BEFORE USING :0)

MY DAUGHTER NEEDED A NEW MIXER---I HAD GIVEN HER MY OLD HAND ONE. SHE LOVES TO BAKE. WE GAVE IT TO HER FOR HER BIRTHDAY. SHE JUST LOVES IT. AND I GOT IT IN THE GRAPE COLOR FOR HER---SHE HAS GRAPES IN HER DINING ROOM.

it works as good as the other ones i have except it only has 1 wisk while my other ones have 2
