Not worth the effort

Although it says key wind mechanism it is not available. I bought one 2 years ago for myself and I love it. I tried to buy this clock advertized for a Christmas gift. Had to return it twice because the clock that is sent to you is a battery operated clock, not a key wind. If the advertized item were really available it is a beautiful clock. but alas it is not according to Seventh avenue. I am still looking for this clock with a key wind mechanism. Seventh Avenue and Ginny's should correct their ad to show it is a battery operated mechanizm.
