Converting Recipes for the Crock Pot
Converting Recipes for the Crock Pot
Write Review
Liquids won't boil away as in conventional cooking, so reduce liquids by about one-half.
In most cases everything can be put in the crock pot in the beginning.
Exception:
dairy products. Add them during the last hour.
Cook food on high for the first 2 hours, then switch to low. Most meat and veggie combinations need at least 8 hours on low.
