Very cheaply made, cannot wipe off the table unless you hold it still with the other hand. the crews stripped out the pre-drilled holes. Would not recommend this set. you can find better quality at a furniture for the same price.

I purchased the pine version. It arrived in several boxes, directions were good but pieces were missing (finishing pieces) and the boxes were damaged. I was really disappointed with the finished product. It's not sturdy at all. The table has split and the finish is wearing off with each wipe down. I try to keep a table cloth on it so company can't see the terrible finish. I want to return it but don't have the energy to go through that whole process! I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing but I was in a hurry to fix up the kitchen before my son's graduation party. I'm really sorry I bought this, $300 is a lot for our family and buying on "credit" makes my mistake cost even more. I have purchased from Ginny's before and have been really happy with other products. My advise is to shop around before purchasing this dining nook.

THIS KITCHEN NOOK I JUST LOVE. It fits perfectly in the corner of my kitchen which is also next to the window, I always loved this look. My children love it, makes them feel comfy and whats amazing, is that when we have guest, it creates a closeness gathering. It's such a fun way of eating with family and friends. Now I'm working on getting the nice cushions.

I chose the Pine , however it is not solid pine, the underneath bench storage area is, more like a wafer board. The cut of this wood, is not of grade quality, the table top, is warped, instruction's were very well written, all parts were included, the finish was a lovely color, however, my 107 pounds, split the long bench seat, the second day after completion. I did not use it, until all glue, and parts, had ample time to settle. It was constructed by a professional, Lumber company owner for me. Ginny's is a wonderful place to shop, as I have for years, however, I strongly suggest, you puchase something, with a higher grade wood quality, as a split bench seat, wraped table top, and an uneven bench seat that rocks, I must in all honesty say, do save your money, until such time as you are able to puchase, a higher quality set, as this certainly did not stand up to test of time. I say this, to inform only, as all other products, I've puchased here, have been wonderful, and last for years. A happy buyer, very disappointed just this one time. Hopefully, mine is not, the typical example of this set. You chose of course, do chose wisely though. I've never given a dis-pleasing review of any company's item's, and even this one, I do give one Star, as the finish is lovely, but very soft pine, and easily damaged. I do hope to be helpful here, so far 2 review's, one great! And mine, which does not favor the poor quality of the wood. Possibly, Walnut vrs Pine? Shipping very reasonable! Timely, and as always, nothing at all was missing. Thank You.

I bought the walnut finish....nice dark color to offset my light blue wall paper and my sage cushions. Fits beautifully! Arrived in a timely fashion even though you have to build it, came in 3 large boxes but I was able to follow instructions (even for a woman...lol). Bottom line, It's simply gorgeous.....now to buy the other accessories to match!!!!
