Rice Casserole

1 c. rice, uncooked
1 stick margarine
1 can French onion soup
1 can water
Salt and pepper to taste

Do NOT stir. Put rice in bottom of 2-quart casserole dish. Slice 1 stick of margarine over rice. Pour soup over margarine. Slowly pour water over soup. Put salt and pepper on top. Do NOT stir. Bake in 350° F oven for 1 hour.
