These shears are what I've been looking for. Being I cut my own hair, I needed sharp shears that would do the job, and getting three shears is well worth the money.

At many stores, you'd be likely to pay $20 for just the thinning shears in this set, and they would be worth it! I cut my own hair, and this set is all I need. All 3 pairs are sharp, well-balanced and oiled. They each come in their own plastic sleeve for storing, and with regular oiling and (professional) sharpening, they should last for many years. This set is a great find at this price! One home haircut or trim and they easily pay for themselves! And if you have never used thinning shears, they are a great way to even out and texturize shorter cuts and make even longer layered cuts look professional. You don't have to worry about perfectly straight lines or being a great barber when you finish up with these... and ALL stylists use them. A little tip: never use your hair-cutting shears to cut ANYTHING but hair. Even cutting paper ONE time with a pair will dull them. The sharper they are, the better and easier the haircut, so HIDE them from roommates, kids, boyfriends, and husbands who will undoubtedly use them for other things... REMEMBER: HAIR ONLY :)
